"Ferdinand the Bull" Concert Poster

This production was choreographed by Nashville Ballet Artistic Director Paul Vasterling, with original music composed by Belmont University guitar faculty member Mario DaSilva. This performance will be narrated by Brian Hull. The original costuming and set design is by Nashville Ballet dancer and designer, Eric Harris. His designs were cleverly inspired by the Cubist paintings of renowned Spanish artist, Pablo Picasso.  -  Out & About

The Tempest

Mario DaSilva was commissioned to compose the music portion  
for the Nashville Shakespeare production of The Tempest. 
It is part of Shakespeare for a New Generation, a national initiative sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts in cooperation with Arts Midwest and also supported by grants from the Tennessee Arts Commission. The Tempest is Shakespeare’s magical tale of old enemies and young lovers, timeless folly and enduring wisdom. This sumptuous and touching play will be a delight for all ages.
